Amazon Teamsters Threaten Strike Ahead Of Crucial Holiday Season: 'We Are Going To Hold This Company Accountable'

Renowned Wall Street investor and economist Dennis Gartman downplayed Bitcoin's (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) record-breaking run on Friday, instead preferring gold due to its long history as a store of value.
What happened: During an interview with Bloomberg, Gartman said he was surprised by the leading cryptocurrency's climb above $100,000.
&#8220;It reminds me too much of the tulip bulb craze of 16th-century Holland and the high-tech craze of the late 1990s and early 20th century," the Chairman of the Akron University Investment Committee stated.
"I will leave it to others to buy; I will avoid it."

The co-founders of crypto analytics firm Glassnode have predicted a potential rally in Altcoins, just in time for the holiday season.
What Happened: Jan Happel and Yann Allemann, who are known as Negentropic on social media X, have shared their insights. They suggest that Altcoins could outshine Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) in the coming weeks.
The Glassnode co-founders have been keeping a close watch on&nbsp;the Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D) chart,&nbsp;which indicates&nbsp;the percentage of the total&nbsp;crypto market cap that Bitcoin represents. 
They propose that the BTC.D has turned bearish, which could potentially set the stage for altcoins to appreciate in value at a faster rate than Bitcoin.
