Stocks Rebound, Chipmakers Soar On Trade Deal Hopes, Bitcoin Lags: What's Driving Markets Tuesday?

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index surging over 1,300 points on Tuesday.
Shares of Marvell Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MRVL#NASDAQ">MRVL</a>) rose sharply during Tuesday's session after Infineon Technologies agreed to acquire its Automotive Ethernet <a href="https://in.benzinga.com/25/04/44683383/marvell-plays-ai-hardball-divestiture-sparks-155-upside-says-analyst">Business for $2.5 billion in cash</a>.
The transaction includes Marvell&#8217;s Brightlane Automotive Ethernet portfolio and related assets. The company projected this segment to generate $225 million to $250 million in revenue in 2025, with a gross margin of around 60%.
Marvell Technology shares jumped 10.1% to $56.16 on Tuesday.
